Banyak users setelah upgrade BBM v5 dan OS5 tiba tiba merasa kenapa SMS tidak masuk ke sms inbox, setelah mencari cari ternyata masuk ke aplikasi BBM.
Feature BBM v5 dapat digunakan sebagai aplikasi SMS dimana anda bisa gunakan aplikasi BBM untuk send receive sms messages.
Anda bisa gunakan feature invite contacts BBM untuk mengundang contacts baru via sms untuk dimasukan ke aplikasi BBM
Cara Invite Contacts SMS ke aplikasi BBM
1. Open BlackBerry Messenger.
2. Press the Menu key and click Invite Contact.
3. Click Enter an SMS contact’s name or phone number.
4. Type the contact’s SMS phone number in the To field.
5. Type the contact’s SMS phone number in the Name field.
6. Click Add Contact.
Jika SMS contact sudah punya PIN BB, anda hanya perlu link BlackBerry contact
Cara Link BBM contacts to Address Book Contact
1. Open BlackBerry Messenger.
2. Scroll to and click a contact.
3. Press the Menu key and click Link to BlackBerry Contact.
4. Select one of the following:
(A)Select Contact – the BlackBerry smartphone contact list will be displayed. Scroll to and click the contact to associate with BlackBerry Messenger.
(B)New Contact – create a new contact in the BlackBerry smartphone contact list and type the SMS phone number.
Atau jika anda merasa terganggu karena sms masuk ke aplikasi BBM anda bisa remove contact link
Cara Disable the SMS Integration functionality
1. Open BlackBerry Messenger.
2. Scroll to and click the contact that you wish to disable this feature for.
3. Press the Menu key and click Remove Contacts Link.
